Preston Johnston

Preston brings a mix of architectural training and hands-on craft to every project. After earning his architecture degree from the University of Colorado, he headed to Michigan to study woodworking and traditional wood boat building—where precision and patience are everything.

In 2013, he moved to Los Angeles and joined Westin Mitchell Design Group, working closely on high-end residential builds and becoming deeply connected to the local maker community.

That blend of design thinking and craft-focused execution eventually led to Fathom + Form—a place where architectural ideas are built, refined, and brought to life through metal.
